Joel’s passion for his profession has not waned in his 40 years of being a Certified Public Accountant and business advisor. He has extensive experience with privately owned corporations and partnerships in the areas of accounting, taxes and tax planning, business consulting, employee benefit plans and computer applications. In addition, Joel has focused on individual tax strategies including the creation of trusts, estate and gift planning and family limited partnerships.
 
Formerly the managing director of Katz & Associates, Joel has served a wide range of clients in the retail, wholesale, manufacturing, legal, medical, real estate and service markets. Joel also has expertise working with charitable organizations and Private Foundations.

Joel enjoys an excellent rapport with clients, peers and friends. Light-hearted, but always the professional, he doesn’t even mind being reminded about his “senior” status. Joel and his wife Goldie reside in Point Breeze and are the proud parents of three adult children, two sons-in-law,  a grandson who was born on October 16, 2009, and granddaughter who was born on May 5, 2010.
