History of KFMR

KFMR is the result of a merger that occurred in October 1999. The merging parties were Katz & Associates, founded in 1981 by Joel Katz, and Ferraro & McMurtry, founded in 1987 by Peter Ferraro and John McMurtry.

Since the merger, KFMR has grown to not only expand personnel, but services as well. In addition to traditional tax compliance, accounting and auditing services, the Firm also offers services from Business Valuation Services to Employee Benefit Plan Administration Services to Strategic and Business Planning.

Today, KFMR is comprised of 5 partners and over 35 members in its staff. KFMR looks forward to continuing its tradition of excellence as the Firm continues to grow.
